You and your children will certainly not be bored at Lake Oeschinen. Whether you want to explore the lake in a rowing boat, take a dip in the cool water, try your luck at fishing, unpack your picnic at one of the fire pits or treat yourself to a fine meal on the panoramic terrace of a restaurant, the possibilities are endless.

Approach

The journey by car to your destination takes you through our beautiful village Kandersteg. Follow the sign to Kandersteg and stay on the main road. Immediately after the small bridge, about 3-4 minutes after entering the village, turn left and follow the road to the parking lot.

Public Transport

South of the Lötschberg, north of the Kander Valley. For this point between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.), an hourly train service is in operation – this is an ideal meeting point for many tours.

Parking

The destination has been decided, and so has the parking space - on this map, drivers can quickly and easily find the right parking option in the Oberland municipality. Well then: engine off, hiking boots on!
