Through the forest by the foaming water through the impressive Chluse (the name of the gorge) to the waterfalls of the Kander along the Gasterntal valley.

At the valley station of the Kandersteg-Sunnbüel aerial cableway, branch off to the left and follow the hiking trail (steep path with steps) through the Chluse into the Gasterntal.
Take the return path on the Gasterntal road, which has led into the Gasterntal since 1912, under your feet. Part of this connection was blasted as a spectacular mountain pass road into the Chluse. Masoned parapets, dry stone walls, curbstones, arched bridges, tunnels and a half gallery are an engineering masterpiece.
Interesting, short walk even in dull weather.
