Starting from Berghaus Iffigenalp, the mountain trail begins with a steep ascent through the forest. The path then leads along a steep rock face in an exposed position, always with breathtaking views over the Iffigtal valley. Here the rock has been blasted in favor of the mountain trail. Where necessary, fixed ropes provide more safety. From the small Blatti hut up to the Rawilseeleni, the terrain is less steep again. The last section of the route from the Rawilseeleni climbs steeply once again and leads through open, stony terrain up to the hut. It's worth pausing now and again (with the air getting thinner and thinner, this may be necessary anyway ;-) ) and enjoying the view of the most likely unexpected plateau "Plan des Roses" and the Wildhorn. After the strenuous hike, you will be rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view at the Wildstrubelhütte.

Don't be confused by the cable car on the way. This is not a public military cable car.
