This beautiful and secluded circular trail winds its way from the ground up to the dreamlike snow-covered Dürrewald. After about two hours and the intermediate station Hohliebe-Büdemli, the trail ends again in the Müli.

Approach

Via Frutigen to Adelboden. At the big traffic circle at the entrance of the village direction Boden.

Public transport

By train to Frutigen. Then by bus to Adelboden. From there, take bus 232 or 235 to the Kreuzgasse stop. On foot 5 minutes to the start of the trail.

From telescopic poles to avalanche shovels - well prepared, you're better off heading for the trail. Professional snowshoe equipment can also be rented in various sports shops in the destination.

Tips

2 or 8 kilometres, across the plateau or the valley floor: The choice of winter hiking trails is large in Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg. Even experienced outdoor walkers will still find enough new territory to explore.
