The trail starts in Kandersteg and leads via Winteregg towards Sunnbüel before continuing on a varied mountain path up to the summit of the Gällihorn. Along the way, the alpine perspective constantly changes, offering impressive views into the surrounding valleys.
After the rewarding final ascent, a spectacular view awaits at the summit. The return follows through the idyllic Üschenental, with an enjoyable downhill section back to Kandersteg. A varied tour combining ascent, summit experience and flowing trails.
Approach
By car via Spiez - Frutigen or by car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
South of the Lötschberg, north of the Kander Valley. For this point between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.), an hourly train service is in operation – this is an ideal meeting point for many tours.
