Every meter of altitude is worth it: From the center of the picturesque chalet village Adelboden it’s not far to the Alpine garden Höreli – this romantic spot makes its first trail statement with magnificent views. After the ascent to the Tschentenalp, you really feel the power of the mountain world. The view stretches from the Engstligenalp opposite to the Hahenmoos pass. Even on the way back, there is still a majestic view, for example at the Taubenfelsen.
Public Transport
Up to the Alp or down to Frutigen? The bus station in the village center connects the entire Engstlig valley. The mountain village is only 90 minutes from the capital.

Directions
Starting in Adelboden village, the route leads downstream to Ausserschwand and soon climbs steadily up to the "Höreli." At this turning point, the trail changes direction and then continues in gentle switchbacks up to the Tschentenalp. The highest point there boasts a vast panorama. Afterwards, runners first descend towards Schärmtanne, but shortly before that turn off towards Taubenfelsen and back to Adelboden village.
