Due to unexpected wear and tear (technical fault), the cable car to Allmenalp will remain out of service until around mid-September. The cable car service has been suspended; transport is not available!
All hiking trails in the Allmenalp area and the paragliding launch site are open as usual.

From the mountain station of the Allmenalp cable car, you walk over the alpine pasture, from where there is a beautiful view of the Blüemlisalp massif. The somewhat steep mountain path leads to the summit of the First. Now enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Oeschinen.
Descent via Stand, Golitschepass, and to Alp Golitsche. At the top, the path leads through rock, then follows a narrow trail downward. This descent is only suitable for experienced and sure-footed hikers.

Approach
By car via Frutigen or the car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
Arrival Kandersteg train station
South of the Lötschberg, north of the Kander valley: for this train station between Brig (38 min) and Bern (61 min) there is an hourly service – an ideal base for many excursions.
15 minutes on foot to the valley station of the Allmenalp cable car.
Parking
The travel destination is fixed, the parking spot as well – on this map vehicle drivers quickly and easily find the suitable parking option in the Oberland community. Well then: engine off, hiking boots on!
