The white-blue-white marked trail branches off on the Bunderalp at the Sennhütten at the foot of the Nünihorn in a southwesterly direction, winds around a rocky ridge overgrown with alpine roses to now enter the lowest rock faces in a directly southerly direction. On stairs and ladders in chimney-like couloirs and ridges one gains the sheep pastures and turns east at the sheep hut, directly ascending, after the Zürchertritt. The usual path today leads from the Sennhütten on Bunderalp further up to the foot of the Nünihorn (poles) and then to the right following the good path, through the steep couloir (fixed rope, called "Schryberschreck", up to the lush sheep pastures; traversing these on a well-marked path, you join the other path at the chain at Zürchertritt (see signpost on Bunderalp). The path via "Schryberschreck" is somewhat shorter. A chain in the final couloir between the sheep pastures and the lower Tierchumi facilitates the not so easy ascent via the Zürchertritt. From Tierchumi now again in southwestern direction through the slate gullies to the hut. From the hut a steep alpine route leads to Engstligenalp. Only for experienced alpinists or with a mountain guide.

Path marks are not necessarily present. In some places, hands are needed to move forward. Terrain already fairly exposed, delicate grassy slopes, steep slopes, single snow and bare glacier passages.
If the markings conform to SWW standards: white-blue-white, you will need to familiarise yourself with the exposed terrain.
Good, stable trekking shoes. Good appreciation of the terrain and good orientation skills. Alpine experience.
In the event of bad weather, a retreat can be difficult.
