Stroll directly from the mountain station past the Berghaus Elsigenalp up to the Brandsee and the equipped fire pits. Firewood is available.
Approach
Leave the A6 / A8 motorway at the Spiez exit heading towards “Kandersteg / car shuttle”. Continue driving to Reichenbach and Frutigen. In Frutigen, leave the bypass at the exit “Frutigen South” towards Adelboden until you reach Achseten. Follow the signpost “Elsigbach” in Achseten and turn left immediately after the second bridge to Elsigbach.

Free car parking spaces at the valley station of the Elsigenalp cable car and at the mountain inn Höchst on Metsch.
