From Kandersteg train station follow the signs to the Oeschinen lake. Along the mountain path towards Under- and Oberbärgli to the Hohtürli / Blümlisalphütte. The Blümlisalphütte is located five minutes' walk above the Hohtürli, the pass between Kandersteg and the Kiental, at 2840 m. The magnificent view and the sensational sunsets make an overnight stay at the Blümlisalphütte a very special experience. The hut is also the starting point for high alpine routes in the Blümlisalp group and various long-distance trails lead to the Blümlisalphütte. Below the hut and by the Blümlisalp glacier there are well-equipped climbing gardens. The Blümlisalphütte lies within the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Jungfrau – Aletsch.
From the hut back to the Hohtürli and steeply down the wooden steps (with handrails) to the Wart. From there it goes less steeply over Bundläger, Bundalp to Griesalp, hiking time 2 1/2 hours.

The hike is also possible from Kiental to Kandersteg.

By car via Frutigen or the car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
Arrival at Kandersteg train station
South of Lötschberg, north of the Kandertal: for this station between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.) there is an hourly service – an ideal base for many excursions.
The valley station of the Oeschinen gondola can be reached within 10 minutes on foot.
Return journey from Griesalp: by PostAuto to the train station at Reichenbach.
Parking
The destination is set, as is the parking space – on this map drivers quickly and easily find the suitable parking option in the Oberland community. Well then: engine off, hiking boot on!
