The Blüemlisalp Run takes place in the immediate vicinity of the UNESCO World Heritage natural area. 35% paved road (the largest portion from Reichenbach to Aris) 65% natural trails (forest and mountain paths). The start is located on Bahnhofstrasse in Reichenbach (Müller Shoes), going flat for 1.5 km towards Kien. In Kien, the first steady ascent to Aris begins. Initially with a view of the beautiful Kandertal. At the last houses of Aris, the paved road is left, and on the beautiful forest trail one reaches the village of Kiental where the start for Nordic Walkers and the team exchange zone is located. The village is left towards the Spiggenbach Bridge. Always with a view of the imposing Blüemlisalp massif. Again through a beautiful, slightly ascending forest section, over an alpine pasture with a small rough incline, one reaches Lake Tschingel. After a short and flat stretch along the lake, the approximately 1.5 km long ascent begins, past the Dünden waterfall to the Griesalp. The finish is located immediately at the Griesalp Hotel Center.
