Small idyllic lakes surrounded by pine forest in majestic mountain scenery. Exceptionally beautiful from May to July. (The lakes may run dry in late season).By cable car from Kandersteg to Sunnbüel. A further 45 minutes walking via Spittelmatte to the Arvenseeli.
Alternative route: Experienced hikers may prefer the high altitude hiking trail from Eggenschwand to Sunnbüel.

Approach
By car via Frutigen or by car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
To the south the Lötschberg, to the north the Kandertal: this railway station between Brig (38 min.) and Berne (61 min.) runs every hour - an ideal base for many excursions.

Parking
The destination has been decided, and so has the parking space - on this map, drivers can quickly and easily find the right parking option in the Oberland municipality. Well then: engine off, hiking boots on!
