With the Regio Express, you can reach (in the front part of the train) Frutigen, Reichenbach, and Kandersteg without changing trains. In Reichenbach, you can change directly to the post bus towards Kiental. From Frutigen, the AFA buses run directly to Adelboden.
If you want to travel directly to the Simmental, you can already take a seat in the rear part of the Regio Express in Bern. This train goes from Spiez directly to Zweisimmen. There, you can change to the MOB and travel to the end of the valley (Lenk).
