You can reach Alpschelenhubel from the upper station of Allmenalp aerial cableway, continuing towards Obere Allme where the mountain path branches off to the left through the rocky side towards Bunderchrinde (only suitable for sure-footed and non-fearful-of-heights hikers). On the Alpschelengrat, the mountain path leads to Alpschelenhubel. From the ridge, it continues over the Alp Alpschelen into the Üschenetal back to Kandersteg.

By car via Frutigen or the car shuttle train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.

South of the Lötschberg, north of the Kandertal: For this station between Brig (38 min) and Bern (61 min) there is an hourly service – an ideal base for many excursions.
