This challenging but scenically stunning trail starts at the church in Kandersteg and initially follows the footpath towards the Üschinental valley. The ascent climbs steadily to Alpschelen and on to the summit of the Alpschelehubel. This section, with its magnificent panoramic views, is one of the highlights of the tour.Take care on the descent to Oberen Allme (narrow path, stony mountainside). The narrow path requires sure-footedness and a head for heights, but rewards you with impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Continue down via the Allmenalp to Ryharts and take the steep path down to Kandersteg.A varied tour with an alpine character and plenty of natural beauty to enjoy.

Note: Due to the steep and, in places, exposed sections, this tour is only suitable for experienced trail runners with sure-footedness.
