Whether a relaxed Sunday walk or a family outing with a stroller – the hiking path from the village to the Simmen waterfalls offers level terrain with a view of the breathtaking Wildstrubel massif. The path starts from the village in the direction of the valley end along the road and turns off to Camping Neufeld. Following the paved road, you quickly reach the large AlpKultur® playground at Lenkerseeli. Here, children can play to their heart’s content, and at the kiosk, you can get delicious ice cream or coffee for a little break. After the small refreshment, the path continues around the Lenkerseeli nature reserve, where ducks peacefully swim in circles quacking. After Lenkersee, the path passes meadows, through forests, and the Chlöpflisbergmoos. Soon you hear the rushing water, and the misting Simmen waterfalls are not far. The path continues along the Simme riverbank and ends at the Hotel Restaurant Simmenfälle. From the terrace, you have a view of the impressive Simmen waterfalls and, of course, the little ones who can play on the playground and with the kid goats.

Optionally, the hike (not suitable for strollers) can be extended to the Sibe Brünne, the source of the Simme. The hike from Hotel Restaurant Simmenfälle to the Sibe Brünne and back takes about 2 hours.
