Strenuous mountain trail with beautiful alpine flora. From the Engstligenalp mountain station, follow the signs over the Ammertenpass up to the Ammertenspitz. Wonderful views to Adelboden and Engstligenalp. The descent follows the same path.
Approach
Travelling from Bern, head for Adelboden passing through Thun - Spiez - Frutigen.
At the roundabout at the entrance to the village, take the 2nd exit on the left and continue on to Unter dem Birg (Engstligenalp lower station).

Bus stop Adelboden, Unter dem Birg.
Parking
Free parking is available at the Engstligenalp valley station.
Directions
Engstligenalp (1965 m) - Ammertenpass (2443 m) - Ammertenspitz (2613 m) - back the same way.
