Bike tour to the world famous Blausee. From the village centre follow the river Kander as far as the weir. Then, ride on the field track through woodlands and past Alpine meadows as far as the turning to Blausee. Cross the river Kander here. Soon afterwards you arrive at the lake. (Alternative route: at the sign post to Blausee, continue straight ahead for a further 600 m in the direction of Frutigen as far as the pedestrian bridge. Cross the bridge to Blausee on foot). To return to Kandersteg, you can take the same route, using the main road (partly with heavy traffic, but the ascent is less steep) or return by bus (bike transport is possible).
