Oeschinensee

The famous mountain lake in the UNESCO World Heritage Site invites you to go rowing and fishing, among other things. Meanwhile, at the cable car mountain station, hiking routes and a summer toboggan run attract visitors.

For many, the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. The lake is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and therefore a nature reserve. The panorama gondola takes you up in about 10 minutes. There you will find the very popular summer Rodelbahn.

After about a 30-minute walk you reach Lake Oeschinen. There, cosy mountain restaurants and accommodation invite you to linger. You can rent boats and fish on the lake. Hikers will also get their money's worth with the various routes and mountain trails to be found at Oeschinen. A perfect family excursion with many wonderful impressions for the whole family. Also a perfect place for those seeking relaxation.

In winter, you can go skiing, sledging, winter hiking and ice fishing at Oeschinen. There are two bow lifts and a rapid downhill run for all skiing enthusiasts. There are also two small drag lifts for children to practice on. So nothing stands in the way of a perfect family ski day.
