The mountain hut is located along the popular high-altitude trail. In the summer months, hikers can enjoy home-made delicacies in a picturesque setting.
Even for inexperienced hikers, the Alp Bütschi is easily accessible, whether from the Bergläger or after a short chairlift ride with the Höchst-Sesselbahn, followed by a short hike towards Hahnenmoos. By following the trail signs towards Bütschi, one cannot overlook the hut.
