Susanne Brunner's life is eventful. She grew up in Canada, Scotland, Germany, and the canton of Glarus. After studying in Ottawa, Canada, she worked as a correspondent in the USA and the Middle East for various stations at Radio SRF. She reported on the attacks of September 11, 2001, in the USA and traveled to the Middle East after the massacre of October 7, 2023. In 2024, Susanne Brunner was named Journalist of the Year by the industry magazine "Schweizer Journalist:in".
Her stories about people and their fates are moving; her clear journalistic stance in reporting is convincing.
