Modern scooter bikes with extra-wide footrests, disc brakes and suspension can be hired directly from the top station of the Betelberg gondola lift on the Leiterli. The downhill route leads from the mountain station first over gravel roads, then over asphalt roads towards the valley.

A first highlight awaits after a short ride at the Leiterli reservoir on the Agematte. The artificial lake serves as a water reservoir for snowmaking in winter. In summer, it is a place to stretch your feet on a bench and marvel at the mountain panorama of the Wildstrubel range. A short visit to the Murmeli building, which is modeled on the home of the cute alpine dwellers, is definitely worthwhile.

The route continues on the road down into Pöschenried - a side valley between Lenk and Iffigenalp. Several bends, past mountain huts and alpine meadows await on this section. The imposing Iffig Falls can be seen from time to time through the treetops.

In Pöschenried, the road flattens out and meanders along the Iffigbach towards the village of Lenk. You pass beautiful chalets and other farms on the way to your destination. After the last forest section, turn left and return the scooter bike at the valley station of the gondola lift.
