The Silleren-Hahnenmoos-Nassberg-Bütschi route begins colourfully and floridly: After starting at the mountain station of the Silleren cable car, the first thing hikers do on this route is take the flower path towards Hahnenmoos. After about an hour, the pass between Lenk and Adelboden is reached - and you are still at almost 2000 m above sea level. Now the path describes a left turn: on the ridge path towards Nassberg, the panorama remains impressive, while protective forest and alpine pastures alternate all around. Finally, there is an easy descent to Bütschi, the home of the legendary herbalist Vogellisi. The rock faces of Fitzer and Rotstock tower high on the right - no wonder the legendary figure chose this remote and mysterious setting. The subsequent journey home is no witchcraft, however: the bus to Bergläger is less than a 30-minute walk away.
