Basically:
Every hour you have a connection with a transfer from Lucerne to Bern, where you can transfer to the Regio Express.
With the Regio Express you can reach (in the front section of the train) without changing trains Frutigen, Reichenbach, and Kandersteg. In Reichenbach you can transfer directly to the PostBus towards Kiental. From Frutigen, the AFA buses go directly to Adelboden.
If you want to go directly into the Simmental, you can already take a seat in the rear section of the Regio Express in Bern. From Spiez, this goes directly to Zweisimmen. There you can transfer to the MOB and ride to the valley end (Lenk).
